Euro mount

Nice job!!

Personally, not a fan of leaving the lower jaw bone on deer (bear, yes) but glad you tried something different!

I always put a single coat of Mop-N-Glo over and inside the whole skull once it's bleached out and dry. Gives a nice look to it, a fresh scent, and a layer of protection against stains and dust. That tip comes from the guy in the video linked below. He has a lot of good videos.

After years of procrastinating I finally bit the bullet and did a couple of deer skulls. One of mine from 2015 and the neighbor kids youth buck from this year. Both were great practice for my moose from this year. Ain't no way I could afford to do a shoulder moose mount. Snapchat-1935875481.jpgSnapchat-1400423332.jpgSnapchat-820225955.jpg
I like the tractor seat. Thats sweet. My 2015 buck will go on an old hog stall door from the hog barn on the quarter of CRP that buck was shot on.

Nice work, gentlemen. I’ve done a couple of deer skulls. Also tackled skulls from “special to me” coyote and bobcat hunts. Care must be used to not boil these too aggressively or else you can lose the teeth out of them. Otherwise, a straightforward project and a lot of fun that gives lasting memories. I also use the Mop N Glo as a final coat. It was a great addition after the peroxide.

I always tell everyone that it’s a 6 pack job!
