EUREKA!!! l Found 100 More 221Fireball Cases

Just cant believe such a find. Esp considering some sellers on the net are wanting a Dollar a case for 221 Fireball brass!! What boolit should l fill them with?? l have 40gr Nosler BT and 52gr JHP Midways on hand.. No time to buy any others.. l'm out of 35gr Bergers FOREVER:-(

I have had very good success with 40 gr Nosler BT and CFE Blk. Best accuracy was achieved when I worked up to the maximum Hodgdon load for CFE Blk(20.8 gr.).

Right now, the Nosler Pro Shop has beaucoup 221FB cases on the shelf, just snagged another 100 for my Furball and 20VT stash.

Thanks Rick and JohnHenry.. l have AA1680 and AA2015 on hand. Both listed in the Nosler manual for 221FB. l only recently became acquainted with Noslers' Pro Shop.. Placed a nice order for some 40gr BalTip blems at quite a nice savings...
My little VSF Rem700 221''furball'' only has a 22'' barrel... Weighs only 8 pounds w 10X Leup VXlll... lf l go again after this shoot l may try some Nosler 35gr Bal Tips or Varmageddons

sw282, Your 22" barrel is more than adequate for this small cartridge fueled by relatively fast burning powders. When I did my 221 build I debated about a 20 or 22" barrel. When with a 22.

great cartridge either way.......I've been know to stretch my VT out to 500 yds

in the p/dog patch......still flips 'em......

Been aquiring Lapua 221 for my 20VT and may set aside some for my two .221s that I need to shoot.Prices are'nt too bad considering what some are selling ole Remington stuff for on the net
