Establishing OAL From Reamer Print

I ordered a new Criterion Savage "pre-fit" in 6 Dasher from Northland. Mr. Kessler provided me with a print of the reamer Criterion uses to chamber the barrel. Is there a way to to establish a reasonably close OAL (or length from base to ogive) from the reamer drawing? If so, how?

In theory, yes; however, the necessary measurements to determine the interaction of the bullet profile with the chamber are difficult and impractical for the reloader. If bullet manufacturers would provide prints for their products (and stick to them) there would be some hope, but that is unlikely because they want to maintain their intellectual property, usually as a trade secret.
