Eric Again?

This is starting to sound like a broken record but Eric Simmons won again at Tawas in the 100 yard score contest today, August 3,2019. I came in second but that was fine with me.
Thanks goes out to Andy Taber, Bob Ekluns, Dale Bertch and the whole crew at Iosco County Sportsmen.

Come up to the Oscoda range and shoot 600 with us.

We helped set up the 100/200/300 matches at Wurtsmith and, in fact, helped put up the required eight foot high fence around that place. I’m built to shoot short range, my rifle that is. For some reason, few want to shoot there and the short range program died there. It is a fine facility. For us Tawas is 167 miles and Oscoda is 187 miles, which isn’t all that much farther. But for most it seems to be a deal buster. Perhaps in time that will change and others will see fit to go that extra mile. I would love to see the short range program revived there. I won’t air all the dirty laundry between Tawas and Oscoda but it exists and it should stop.
