Equipment Transportation at match

I'm looking for ideas on ways to transport Fron Rest, Rear Rest, Read Bag, etc. To the range and to the line. Pictures and links or part numbers would help. I'm currently using a hard side carry on travel bag.

Your post was a little vague. You going to the firing line to the bench? Your house to the range by vehicle or are you trying to get this stuff on a plane?

Sorry for not being clear. Truck to range, then truck to line. Looking for cases or other ideas. Max front rest, Wahlstrom rear rest, gator bag. I have a hard side travel bag and a yellow case. Not delighted with either.

If it were me I would buy some wood, handle and hinges from your local home store and some sheet foam from a fabric store and make my own. You know what they say " if you want it done right.....got to do it yourself". Thats all I got for you...Happy New Year everybody!!!

Some of the guys that I shoot with, have durable hinged plastic case that fits their rest, rear bag and a few other items. I'm not sure if they're made by Plano, or someone else.

The foldable cart sold by Target or Walmart will handle everything if you pack it right. A soft rifle case is easier to place in the cart than a hard sided one. I can carry my front rest rear bag, ammunition, shooting stool, spotting scope, and rifle, as well as a small plastic box with ear plugs, tools, bolt grease, etc. The Walmart one is about $60 and comes in red or blue. Mine has held up well and is a godsend, especially when moving between firing lines during a Palma Match

I can not compair the two because I have not seen them, but from my experience shopping at sams club and Costco their products are usually better quality than other stores. If it were me I would spend the extra $20.

I picked up a Plano sportsman trunk from Academy Sports for like $25. Fits my front rest, rest bag, mat, spotting scope, stand and ammo. So far it's held up very well. No complaints with it

I got one of those with the intention of using it with a cart. My idea was to keep everything in the trunk, take it out of the car, drop it into the cart, and go to the line, EXCEPT it turns out you cannot fit a NEO with F-class feet in it in any orientation and still be able to close the trunk  It needs another 1" or so in width :( I've seen another brand trunk that might work, but I couldn't find it (and now can't remember the brand).

I've got a couple of old "Milk Bottle Crates" and a folding hand truck

When I "upgrade", if ever, I'll probably just get one of those large tool boxes that has big wheels on one end and handle on the other.

A younger shooting partner. Preferably a relative that is showing interest in the sport. My daughter is five and I'm 42. Hopefully when I'm 50. I can keep her more interested in the sport and less interested in boys. I doubt it, but I'm going to try.
