It would be nice to have a list of future ELR competitions in one place for guys to reference. If there’s not one somewhere else. We can start it here. I don’t do Facebook so it’s just a couple shooting sights that I’m on and tracking down that info on a bunch of posts is difficult

Come join us for our first ELRSO Match on the famous Rosebud Sioux Nation Tribal Lands located north of Winner, South Dakota. The terrain will be rolling hills and sage brush flats and the winds in this beautiful country will be a challenge for all shooters. This is a sanctioned match so all ELRSO Rules apply and shooters points are accumulated for the finals.

Zero range will open at noon on Oct 4th with targets set at 100 yds and 1000 yds. There will be 2 Matches, Limited and Unlimited. The Limited Class will start at 8:30 am Saturday and have Targets from 1000 yds to 1800 yds for any guns up to .338 caliber. The Unlimited class will start 8:30am Sunday and will have targets from 1500 yds out to 3000 plus yards for any guns up to 50 caliber in size. This is a precision shooting match “No barn door sized targets” with target size for the Limited being 1.5 MOA in size out to 2k yards. The Unlimited Targets will be Standard 36”x36” out to 3k plus yards.

This is not a hit to move event, you will shoot both rounds with the top 10 scoring shooters progressing to the finals. Round count 10 shots per round. Total round count 30 unless there’s a shoot off. For a complete set of rules go to the ELRSO website HERE!

This area has some of the highest density of Prairie Dogs and Pheasants so guided hunts can be arranged at a discount for ELRSO members.

So come test your skills and have the time of your life on these spiritual lands.

Match Fee: $150 per event for ELRSO Members or $200 for non members with a limit of 50 shooters limited match and 25 shooters Unlimited match.

A cash payout will be awarded to the top 4 shooters in each class. Water and Lunch will be provided for all entrants in each class.
