Electronic scales less than $500

Is there any consensus on go to electronic scales for powder weighing less than $500?
Currently using RCBS electronic scale but only goes to 1/10 of a grain. Think I'm missing a considerable amount of accuracy in the weighing process.

Probably costs a bit more ($30.00-$50.00) than $500.00 but it's worth it. The A&D FX 120i balance. Or if you like, a Gem Pro 250. Much less. I have both. I'll stick with the A&D.

thank you for response-will check out FX120i. What are down sides to Gem Pro? How does it's speed and accuracy compare to FX120i?

The main difference is the sensitively of the A&D. It will respond more quickly and accurately to very slight trickling. Also it holds its readings with out drifting much longer. At least mine does.

Unfortunately no. I purchased it a few weeks before I found out about the excellent price at Cambridge.
I would shop around but I know that many of the members of this website purchased their balances from there and received excellent prices and service from that company.

Looks like total price with 100 gr calibration weigh is $710.00 Canadian.
This price is calculated by your credit card at the daily rate at time of purchase. Buyer is advised to contact their card company to get a sense of what that exchange rate currently is. Visa had no interest in a reasonable time frame (5 minutes) to provide a talking in person person to give me an exchange rate for the day in question. My best guess is 25-30 percent exchange rate for US dollars. Total cost, my estimate, excluding $20 us postage to be approx $510.00. Don't know about insurance or who pays for it. I Like dealing with these folks, but this whole rig a marole to deal with the US 's number 1 trading partner is simply one more example of real interference in free trade, with our neighbors! Preservearence furthers, but at some point some government entity ought to be paying me for the inconvenience they're causing me because I want to spend my money. Crazy to say the least.
