Electric Screwdriver Adapter for Wilson Inside Neck Reamers

Shynloco

You can lead a horse to water, but ........
Guys,
And especially the McGyver types.... I'm trying to figure out how to make or even buy an adapter for the brass Wilson Inside Neck Reamers. The handles Sinclair sells are for the Wilson Trimmers (which I have and use) but those don't fit the reamers. The present Reamer Metal circular handles tears up the hands. And I'd like to be able to have a "SCREW ON" adapter so I can just attach a reamer to the extension that goes into the electric screwdriver just like the 21st Century cases turner. Any thoughts? Thx!

Why not just fasten an inexpensive 1/4" drive socket to the handle with some J-B Weld. Make sure it's centered and when cured just plug in a hex to 1/4" drive adapter. I have done similar with other manual tools and I just use the cheap sockets that come with the odd-ball tool kits I've acquired over the years. If you don't have any of those you can buy a cheap one at most hardware or auto parts stores without having to buy the whole kit.

Thx for the thought. I started looking around in my tool chest this morning and found a few extensions that may well fit the bill. And I have a neighbor whose a retired machinist who has quite a bit of tools including a fair sized lathe he uses to make custom off road engine parts. So when he gets home from the holiday, I'm going to ask him take a look and see if he can tap one of those extensions to match the thread pattern and size on the reamers. If not, I'll try your weld suggestion. Thx again!
