Electric motor for a Henderson Tri-Trim case trimmer

I use a electric drill to power my Henderson Tri-Trim Case Trimmer. I'm looking for an electric motor to use to make the unit self-contained. I don't know what I would use to "attach" the motor shaft to the Trimmer as I'm current using the keyless chuck on the drill to do so.

Has anyone found a motor for use with the Henderson Trimmer and if so what did you use to "attach" it to the Trimmer?

I am looking to do the same thing. Owner of Henderson Precision says he will be offering a motor mount option in the future. If you are in a rush, then a 1600-1800rpm motor and some lovejoys will suffice.

Just line up both shafts and use a tight fitting piece of rubber fuel hose from an auto parts store. Works like a champ and has enough flex to not put strain on the bearings, that’s how it’s done on the Gracey Trimmer. If it slips use a wire crimp to tighten the fit. Use a 1725 rpm or less motor. I picked up a small 1/15 hp motor at an electrical surplus store.

Thanks Fellows. Now to locate a motor. I would like to fabricate a platform to mount the trimmer and motor on instead of the cluster of having drill motor.
