ELD-VT seating depth

What has been your experience as far as seating depth preference with the ELD-VT line. I have 62 and 69 gr for use in 7 and 8 twist 223 rem and 80 gr for use in 7.5 twist 6mm rem AI.

Distance to lands?

I jumped my .264’s 20 thousandth also from a recommendation here on the forum. They shoot great there.

I suspect anything closer than the 20 thousand jump towards the lands is going to leave less than desirable bullet hold in the neck of the case for a hunting rifle.

I just ordered some of the 62s to try in a Tikka .223. I'm too lazy to measure jump anymore.

I had to jump further. 40-50 before I seen any results with the 69. Still haven’t finished playing with them yet but it’s proven to be the hardest bullet I’ve experienced to get to shoot in my particular rifle.

With the 62gr Eld VT
.020" off jam...best in .062 freebore 223 Ackley. Just touching worked fine as well.
1/2 MOA with either ramshot Tac or Lever'...
3400 FPS
22" Shilen 7.5 ratchet twist with LPM suppressor

Yeah - those bullets can really get tweaked!
