Ejector or not?

Ordering a Borden Rimrock SSR to build a 22PPC. The question is regarding the ejector. Is an ejector necessary? For instance, is the ejection port to small to reach into? thanks

Ejectors are not necessary, but they are nice! Most shot regular actions up until maybe 5 years or so ago. Or if they shot a Remington, they took the ejector out.

But now they are the thing to have. You have two choices, load and eject from the same port, or have a separate ejection port. Both have their following. But if there is a separate ejection port, it will typically be too small to reach into.

I am ordering the action RBRP, Mr. Borden uses ejectors in his guns. Something about that clean boltface is appealing....
