eezox?

I am currently using Boretech products for cleaners in both my rimfire and centerfire but am looking for something to put through the bore afterwards as a protectant as well as to keep from having a dry bore first shot.

Could this be used on a damp patch as a last patch without having to dry patch it out before the first fouling shot? Or would lockease be a better option?

No. It’s only a very light film. Patch is not saturated. Shoots on the same spot or very close. Fps down 20-30 on first shot.

I use Eezox for all my guns. The tests prove it’s ability to stop corrosion.

After barrel is clean I run a patch soaked with Eezox thru and leave it overnight then run a dry patch to pick up residual. One of the best rust preventatives there is. Barlow

I have found that due to Eezoxs heavier than water specific gravity, it can be pretty hard to wash off! otherwise I love it and it being hard to remove is exactly why i use it where i use it!

so another question would be IF you don't completely clean all this lube from the barrel what is the result of these lubes after firing?

Be careful. Any excessive liquid in the barrel can cause pressure spikes.

After two dry patches I use a 1 3/4 patch with a drop of oil in each corner to avoid shooting a dry barrel. I only want minimal lubrication. Have had good first shot poi results with velocity down just a bit.
