EER scope

I have never owned an EER scope but would like to put one on my Anschutz 17 hmr pistol that
I recently acquired. I want a higher power scope, not 2x or 4x and probably a variable.
Any and all recommendations and experiences appreciated.

Exit pupil starts getting kinda puny above 4x. Makes eye alignment much more difficult. Now, if you can find a pistol scope with a 100mm objective , might be OK.

Burris made a 3-12 if I remember correctly. I shoot my anschutz pistol with rifle glass.

3-12x32 Burris, great reliable scope. But low light, and eye relief are a pain. The 2-7×32 is more user friendly and the most rugged eer out their. But the Bushnell Trophy 2-6x is much more eye friendly at higher power.

If it were me, with on recoil, I would use a standard rifle scope in whatever power range you like.

For that little cartridge, I would use a rifle scope and climb on top of it. Recoil should be no problem.

I've got a Vortex 2-7 scout scope that I repurposed as a pistol scope for bipod shooting. Works well for me. The duplex reticle may be a bit too thick for your type of shooting though.
