Edgewood twisted gater reviews?

I know it does not adress your direct question but I have 2 Seb Bigfoot offset that I have been using this year and am very happy with the design.
I'm sure the Edgewood will perform just as well and you would be very happy with it.

I have one that I got 2 weeks ago and have shot off it twice, I love it, the only part I don't like is it needs a thicker base, I got to the shoot yesterday and could not get low enough to get on target even with the seb at its lowest setting so I ended up folding a towel and putting under it, that didn't help stability at all. The rest is solid and even when you put your had on the rest doesn't move the POA. Call Ryan at edgewood!

Soooooooo . . . let's see - $250 plus shipping, and I'd still have to buy something else (i.e., shell out more $) to get full usage out of it?!!! Although patently obvious, this is one of my biggest complaints (issues) with this stuff. I've lost count of the number of niche-made, expensive, top-of-line (did I mention expensive?) equipment and/or accessories I've bought that didn't work as advertised, needed something else to do so, worked for a while then gave up, or didn't work at all. :(

Takeaway: If your current rear bag is okay as is, but you need to rest your (trigger) hand on something, buy a tall brick bag. Or if you're cheap like me, fill an empty, canvas shot bag with sand and cover it with duct tape. Finito!

I guess I need to add that this is the only range (out of 2) that I had to do this one (towel under it at 100 yards) because of the way the ground lays, at my home range it was fine.

If I could back up time I'd get one !
I have the long edgewood and use a protector pillow leaned up on it, simulating this exact thing.
Some have a light weight block gotten at hobby lobby, they've cut it down to size needed. It's a pretty cool set up.
Shooters are very innovative, most are common sense kind of ppl.

Storage & hauling all the equipment is part of the strategy also. So far 3 tool boxes, folding table, rod holder, front rest case, gun case, 2 ammo boxes & folding cart on wheels has my truckbed & back seat kinda full.

I I'll add 2 aluminum adjustable back rest bottoms made for strange benches & down hill ranges.

Great info, thanks. At least with a traditional shaped bag it's more feasible to add a spacer underneath to account for major variance in target heights. that'll be the next product that will be for sale, special version spacer only for twisted bag, guessing the price tag on that would be about $99. Leaning toward a regular gater with twisted ears based on what I've heard so far...

Just cut a piece or two of plywood and put non slip kitchen shelving cover on them. Your wife or girlfriend or hooker or significant other or whatever floats your boat probably has some in the pantry.

EXACTLY what I did!! cut 3 out to match the shape of the bag and glued two together. if I don't need much Elevation I only use the single, if I need more, I use the double. every situation covered for 7.00$ and 30 minutes time:eek::D;)
