I think it is for my 300 H&H. I measured that same number +/-" on the metal opening. I have only small issue now.
I would take it for your price shipped to ZIP 83651 (SW Idaho) if I can have a 3-day inspection to check fit. I would just need to set my barreled action in it to be sure. If not, I would pay return shipping. I am about 99% sure on the fit.
