EC TUNER BRAKE.

I have a question the EC Tuner/Brake, but Cortina Percision wants me to join their fourm to ask questions.

All I want to know is are the EC Tuner Brakes IBS/Freedom bench rest rules legal?

Anyone have one? I want one, but don't want to find out bad news the hard way.

90deg brake allowed in IBS 600yd. No rearward brake is allowed. Tuners are legal.

Yes, some are. The BR one posted above is probably the one you want.

It says: This brake has STRAIGHT ports out the side which is legal to use on long range Benchrest competitions.

The first port is a “hybrid port”, 90 degrees in the back but 25 degrees in the front which creates a gas curtain to shield the shooter from the gasses from the other three forward ports. The next three ports are 25 degrees.
