Ebony forend tip on varmint stock?

I am working on a stock for Savage PTA based rifle (22x47 Lapua) with short medium varmint barrel. That's how it looks right now

Of coarse it is a matter of taste, but is it appropriate to install ebony tip on the forend? I like ebony on classic hunter rifles, but can't decide to put on this kind of rifle. What your thoughts are?

Hi w123driver,

I like the look of an ebony foreend tip. I have a custom stocked 6mm Rem bull barrel and also have an ebony grip cap.
Go for it !!
