ebay now allowing gun sales?

Forwarded to me from my brother in his search for Win. 94 parts:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-WINCHESTER-1894-PARTS-made-1895-/260950303678?pt=Vintage_Hunting&hash=item3cc1d9a3be

Yea, I saw a 40X barreled action about a week ago and wondered the same thing myself.

I doubt they are allowing gun sales, I have seen people put on things that are not allowed by ebay and they erase it. Your link is of gun parts built before 1898 and no NFA rules apply and I would think ebay is aware of that rule also. I also read and was made aware of pics of rifles with scopes still mounted for sale or auction. Supposedly the person listing cannot show pics of the entire firearm but just the optic.

I know that NFA Rules don't apply to this listing, it's not the NFA/BATFE part my brother and I had the questions about.......but ebay changing their tune about gun sales.

I just checked the link and got this -

This listing (260950303678) has been removed, or this item is not available.

Doesn't look like they changed their tune!

Yeah, I just got the same thing but did note many listings for various parts. Do a search for Winchester, see what comes up. Or Colt, Remington, etc. Lotsa pieces, nothing functionally complete.

It seems that parts and pieces have been selling since the first of the year including barrels and magazines (clips to you M1 Garand guys) but this was a complete barreled action less wood and some pieces....even showed the serial number in the pics.

doing any kind of gun buisiness on E- BAY is like having a 500 lb. gorrilla looking over your shoulder to see your e-mail address so they can pass it on to the next anti- gun idiot, so enter with caution while playing with E-BAY--------------- take care craig

I find all this "TOO DO" about ebay and paypal being anti-gun nothing more than a glorified Oxymoron.
I've purchased fully half of my loading equipment as well as scopes and gun component's off ebay using paypal.
If they want to be superficially "anti gun" as they supply me with the items I need to support my "gun hobby's" it suits me just fine.

Now if they happen to change and not supply me with the items I need, I'll stop using it.

It's kinda like a Prohibition Preacher,
talking Fire an Brimstone too fill the collection plate up front,
and selling liquor out the back door. :o
