Others are probably already doing this, but I just thought it up and gave it a try yesterday and it works great.
Rinse the brass and pins right in the tumbler barrel a couple times first. Don't worry about getting the water clear or all of the water out of the barrel, just get the bulk of the crud out. Then place your RCBS or Cabela's media separator right by your kitchen sink. You'll only need the bottom. Pour the brass, pins and leftover water into your Media separator and fill the separator base with clean water. Slowly spin the separator for about 30 seconds or so and then dump out the water and refill with clean water. Do this 3 times and then a final spin with the base empty to remove the excess water. The brass will be completely rinsed and you won't have a single SS pin left in the cases.
I also found a way to stop the "floaters" from pouring out with the rinse water. Just splash the water a little as you pour out the rinse water and the "floaters" will sink down with the rest of the pins.
