WANTED Early series Rem 700 SA

Looking for an early series numbers only or a C serial number receiver/bolt assembly for a M40A1 replica, it doesn't need to be within actual manufacture serial numbers, trying to get that exact gets too $$ and I’m not trying to shyster someone into something this build isn’t…it’ll be close and likely legal for comps If I build it right…

I have a G series 308 bf short action, but it does have the large bolt knob. What is the magic serial # range ?

As in a Tactical knob? E and G series were used in M40A3 rifles of various sets of serial numbers depending on lots the USMC purchased…C series were earlier M40A1s that got sent back to the armory over the years and rebuilt, tough to find them on authentic M40A1s but if I got one it be like finding a diamond in Arkansas in the rough…

Anything in the 200,000’s would work
