early sako l46 extractor

the other day while cleaning my sako 222 to my dismay I noticed the extractor was broken. still in the bolt, but just broke in half.. im having an absolute terrible time finding one of these little buggers! I know that they share the same extractor as the rem 799, but I cant find one for it either!!! anyone have a clue where I could find one at? I tried numrichs but they dont have them either. im nearly to the point of trying to anneal it then tig weld it back together, and re harden.

I believe Dans40X on this forum may weld them back together. I can attest to his skill as well as a lot more of the people on this forum.

My early L461 SAKO uses a round extractor made from a piece of round spring steel stock. The hook is just notched out and the front beveled to ride over the rim. the bow of the extractor holds it into the bolt. I replaced mine 32 years ago and SAKO said they were no longer making the part then.
