HEXTA Match-Grade Targets

Matches in Real Time coming soon. Stay posted.

Should this thread be relocated in the equipment sales area. It is just an advertisement for Hexta targets.

I kind of agree, but since he isn't a site contributor or a site sponsor, not sure he can post in either place, which leads to the question, should it be here at all?

Impressive. Can independent shooters who attended these events verify these claims?

Yes, I shoot at Reade Range in Pennsylvania all the time and their targets work flawlessly, well whenever everything is plugged in. They ran two huge regionals this past summer and there were no target issues during the two weekends. One weekend had about 60 shooters and the other had around 100.

Yes results can be verifird. At Bridgeville back on November 11 and 12 we ran the Delaware State Long Range Championship. 30 shooters both days, even with temperatures in the low 20's each morning. No missed shots and even more exciting, the results were broadcast live on the HEXTA website as we were shooting. Folks sat in the warmth of the clubhouse and watched the scores of each shooter. You could even see the groups. This is the link to the final results table http://shooting.hexsystems.com.au/competition/monitor/89 . Click on a shooter and then if you want to see groups click on the eyeball.

Yes the results can be verified at Reade also. Several EIC matches were shot with no complaints of zeros being off. Four State championships, a long range Palma regional, and all of our monthly league matches were also fired in addition to the regionals Joe mentioned. These targets are reliable and accurate for every shot.

I have shot at Reade and Bridegville. Although I am still not the greatest fan of electronic targets. I saw no issues whatsoever with the Hexta Systems. They recorded all my shots and even the one on the other target. I will be attending each ranges matches this upcoming year.

I have had BAD experiences with the other brands systems. Numerous big red X's and always at the worst time.

The targets work great. There is never a doubt if you cross-fire onto another target! (Ask me how I know! lol) One of the best things about them is NO PIT DUTY in the Mississippi summer heat and humidity. We did have a very small number of unexplained "misses", but they give the shooter the benefit of the doubt and re-fire. These could have been misses, but when a shooter is hitting consistent 10's/X's, with a 9 flyer, a miss is unlikely. Not impossible, just unlikely. We (should say I, as I can't speak for all) will take it to stay out of the pits. Let's face it, a target puller can mess up also. Matches also run a little faster. You also have a little more time when not on the line to socialize/ask questions. That helped me a lot this year. I am glad Bar 3 Range in Laurel, MS bought them.

Thanks, gacton for your affirmation.

In regard to the “small number of misses”. This is the first goBallistic or Hex Systems hears of this. That does not happen! We don’t tolerate misses. Rewarding “another shot” is NOT a solution. There are 8 sensors with their ears open full time. If a bullet goes through the target, or hits the frame, at least one sensor is going to pick it up.

We are digging into the targets records to find the reason and will rectify! I will also follow up on this forum when we decipher the cause.
