DZ Arms Scope Legal for Vintage Sniper Match

I am in the process of putting together a reproduction 1903A1 sniper rifle for the vintage sniper match and was wondering about the DZ Arms scope. It is not specifically listed in the CMP rule book as an approved scope, but I have found multiple threads on various forums about people using them. I also spoke to Dan the owner and he said he has sold a number of scopes for vintage sniper use. I do have an e-mail into the CMP seeking clarification about the legality of the scope but am waiting for a response. Does anyone know if the CMP has approved these scopes and have confirmation in writing the could share?

Not interested in using a Hi-Lux Malcom 8X scope. Thanks

You will have to get that answer from the CMP there may be some super secret emails out there but if you don’t have one or a copy of one you’re taking your chances

I've also tried contacting CMP but with no results.
I'm also putting a rifle together but will use the 2.5x scope.
I've heard that the DZ scopes were legit for these matches.

Everything I have been able to find so far suggest the scope is legal as long as I use the "original" style mounts and not the "posa" style mounts. I agree with XTR, I do not want to take a chance but it would be nice if someone had something from the CMP that says they are legal. Frustrating because there are not a lot of options out there.
