Dutch gun fault inspection, i got an oficial warning

Hi all, welcome to the bias of dutch gun laws.

Once a year our faults are under investigesition by law, and done by street cops.
Never a problem, till they made special cops, to investigate.
Investigate numbers and legal papers,(seame to numbers chainge in years, but they dont).

All good and clean fun, till miss x-name showed up.

She dont like guns i quis, first inpection last year, room was a bit messy, i heard on my licance extancion????

Oke we have all differant kind of vernage, and we dry our laundry in the livingroom??

Oke now the bombshelll! On a week day , i had a day off, thought go shooting.
Put my 526cz 22lr in my dragbag, and on my way back to return my gunsafe keys, i saw my pc still running.
Did a quick couple things on it (30 minutes), just i closed off front door bell rings.

Gunsafe inspection, by the same lady.

So i guided her into my gunsafe area, and told her i get my keys.
Bit scrambled i am, i forgot about the CZ in my bag.

When gunsafe inspection happend, i , ahyes that other gun outside, i explained to her i was going to the range.
I saw her face, i knew she didnt believe me.
1 warning now, 2 wornings by by gun permit.

Similar situation in Australia. Inspections take place regularly. Police officers come in pairs and will try to incriminate you, "Does your wife know where the safe keys are?"
If your wife isn't licenced and you answer "Yes" bye bye licence and firearms. This has happened to the unwary. Had one rookie officer ready to draw while I was opening the safe, nice friendly body language right there...

Why the 2A is so important to protect... America is the only country that has it , although some states seem like another country... I just can't imagine this , growing up in Texas I got my first gun basically at 6 years old... We didn't have a safe , not sure there was any back then design for home use and guns.... We had a beautiful gun cabinet and you put it in your living room for your guest to see and admire... There were no mass shooting back then.... Hell we all had shotguns and deer rifles in the back window of our pick up trucks in the school parking lot.... The question is , what changed..?

Heare ya Macropod, same here, just last year finnishd a nice custom rifle, for thefts no gain. 1 shot .222r no magazine.

NO parenting , just time out....NO taking responsibility..... Etc etc etc ..... When I FD up bad enough I got the belt , not a beating , a spanking , a good one were you learned if you do that again , let's be honest , don't get cought or don't do it.... Yet even my wife's sister not that far off my generation won't spank their kids , they will be lucky at what they get , yelling and screaming over the top of each other... A 12 year old girl out in a bad neighborhood and nobody knows at 10:00 at night.... Well this goes on etc etc etc.... All I know is this , I don't have kids at 51 and probably won't , but if I did I am not going to yell and scream at a 10-11-12 year old and they better be were I know were their at.... Or else , and I don't meen taking their Xbox away......You know what I meen... Not letting the xbox being a babysitter.... Hands on is better thanks hands off in any way...

Our gun laws are supposed to be protected... Unfortunately they are not... What protects them any more in America is a sh$t ton of rednecks , with a sh$t tons of guns and ammo , well down south anyway.... Not our politicians , this they know.... To me as far as health insurance , get the health care people under control were it doesn't bankrupt you to get a splinter taken out of your finger and we won't need insurance..... Unfortunately we , the people that pay taxes and work have to pay for the ones that don't or even aren't citizens , that's what I find crazy..

Over here in SA we have to jump through so many hoops to own guns and they are just piling on more "laws" or at least trying to as we have a couple decent groups fighting back now, latest thing now is we are not allowed to change or replace barrels anymore FFS.

We are also supposed to have safe inspections when you first apply for a license and then when ever a police officer could be bothered but we have to live in security complexes behind walls and massive gates so no one can get to your house anyway to do any sort of inspection, as if they could be bothered anyway.

A couple years ago in the smaller towns they would go form house to house and ask the wife to open the safe for them for inspection when the husband was away (9.5 out of 10 times its the husbands safe and guns), if the wife knew where the keys were or worst even had her own set of keys and it was not her licensed FA's in the safe the license holder would be seen as unfit to own firearms and breaking the law

When a president and chief of police says that their is no need for a private citizen to own a FA and that they have a "dream" that only the police and military would have fire arms you know whats going on in their heads and than we have one of the highest murder rates in the world to go along with this "gun friendly idea".

It only takes one election or one loony in the wrong position for the slide to start but at least we have groups taking them on now, at least with the age of technology and social media its not as easy to implement stupid laws without people catching on and mobilizing
