Dual press light setup

So I got a Universal Reloading Press kit light from KMSquared.com a while back as a gift. The universal is a flexible LED strip with adhesive backing. Finally got around to looking at installing it and went on the website and found a new "UFO" design that is made in a configuration for the Hornady LNL AP that I wanted to illuminate. The UFO is a lollipop shape LED strip. The circular section goes below the center hole on the progressive press frame and down the inside of the front vertical.

The 120vac plug to the quick connectors with an inline switch in the universal kit is simple and easy. The UFO kit is available as an expansion set that is configurable. I went with a "Y" splitter and second switch and an extension cable.

Now I have installed both lights onto my two presses with the switches and splitter running both off of the one power plug.

I can pull either off the bench independently at the quick disconnects.

Very happy with the setup and super bright light. Looking forward to using it.

Just my 2cents here. Be careful applying 2 loads (lights) to one power supply (plug in transformer) as the power supply may not be rated for 2. Might work for a while if you use 1 light at a time.

Is that a Herters press? I have 2 of them.

Thanks for your concern and comment. The power supply is rated at 1 amp and I calculate that the two light strips require under .4 amps. I just had both on for the picture. Not planning on reloading on both presses at once.
