DTAC 115 RBT - How's it going ?

Just curious as to hear what peoples reports are on the DTAC 115 RBT are this year.

I too am curious. I havent heard much. I will be trying the 110 SMK's to see how they do, and If they dont hack it Ill try the DTAC RBT's.

Wish I could help you but I'm sitting on 1,000 to try in my Comp Match once I get the barrel broke it. New barrel only has ~60 rounds on it so I don't think I'll get serious on load development until about 200 rounds. Might be a couple of months the way things have been going lately

I've been shooting them since they were released and have been very pleased. So far they've been very consistent in the two batches I've had. That being said, some of my friends have mentioned that a recent lot they got had a much lower BC, closer to the old DTACs, but I have nothing to really back that up from my experience.

I'm shooting them on top of h1000 in comp match. The trued bc for the lot I have is .32. They are remarkable in the wind or at distance.

Hoser, what is your freebore on your Comp Match shooting the new RBT DTAC? Also your oal to run in your AI type mag?

My chamber was throated to have the base of the bullet even with the bottom of the neck to be 1,000% sure there would not be any donut problems.

I didn't test the batch I got until after our clubs championship...Bad move on my part.But I was happy with the 105 Berger Hybrid in my 6mmBRX..Only reduced my powder charge 4/10's of a grain, same 10 to 12 thou off the lands...They really fly nicely in the wind at distance...I shoot VBRs at Ridgway in Pa. Those friggin crows at 850 are a tough target..After I tested the DTAC's... my best score 26/40.. my avg. before the change up was only 20/40....Mike in Ct

I was able to get them to just under 2900 with RE16. Haven't messed around with Varget yet, but I imagine you could get low 2900s.

Had one good outing with them, 3rd place amongst Dashers, 6BRAS, 6.5 Creeds and Lapuas etc etc, then left the barrel dirty because I was told you don't have clean as often with the TBN coating and my groups fell apart for 3 matches, I switched to 105JLKs for the final Match and another 3rd place, .025" off from 1st place.

I hope your neck measures at least .257"
