It's a 16C Collet Chuck. Available from Bison, TMX Toolmex, Pratt Burnard Atlas, etc.

He says he was having chatter from his tru-bore, So thats why he came up with his new chuck system. If you go back to Nates old videos on the tru-bore he says to barely hold the other end of the barrel with your outboard spider.

I make extensions for my barrels so I can support the other end of the barrel on my tru-bore setup if the barrels aren't long enough..

He chambers raw straight full dia blanks and contours them after he chambers so the length should not be an issue.

Chambers before contouring?
He does. Also with his chuck setup, it’s really only for one diameter barrel. If you’re like me and you need to work on several different diameters, you either need a scroll chuck with different soft jaws, or different back bored collets. All at an added cost over the 1500 you’re already spending on the chuck adapter. He doesn’t include a backplate either.
I had conversations with him prior to ordering mine, we talked about the backplate I needed but he never mentioned that it didn’t come with.

So, I have one available if someone is really interested in one. No chuck, no backplate.

Here’s another video with the chuck adapter and a 3 Jaw chuck in his other Haas.

Right, that is his earlier version with soft jaws cut for that diameter barrel. He primarily works on blanks, so he doesn't need to be concerned about sporter contour on up.

He does chamber carbon fiber barrels that are contoured and that might be how he sets up the other lathe.

He has his adjustable rigid reamer holders are for sale on Manson but as far as I know they don't carry the chuck adapter.
