DPMS LR-308 OAL's with NBT's

Does anyone shoot NBT's out of a DPMS LR-308???
Can you get by with a OAL of 2.800?

I am shooting 165 gr NBT out of my DPMS LR308 Oracle at 2.810 COAL. They shoot ok but the 155Hornady AMAX's loaded to the same length are much more accurate.

Have you noticed a change in point of impact if you release the bolt and fire single shots from the clip vs. loading up 5 rds and firing semi auto?

I have been shooting the Nosler 165's out of my LR308. I load them to 2.800 over a touch of Varget. Easy 3/4" groups. I have some Amax and HPBT to try out but haven't had a chance to yet.

I loaded some 125 NBT's and some 165 Hornady SST's over Varget-- it is what I had so we will give it a try.

What do you expect out of the brass 3 firings maybe in this gun??
