dose any one own a marlin model 25n 22 (is it missing a part)

im looking for photos of the trigger meg mine looks as lo it may be missing a part

it may just be me but that slot looks like some thing should be there
or is there a bit on the bolt witch slides down the slot :-/

the rifles got no bolt or mag i am planing on geting a bolt and mag from usa ( im from new zealand and we cant get bolts here) and have a mate from usa who can send them to me but just makeing sure its not missing another part before i order them
 
all the trigger parts seem to be there.However i will look tomorrow when i am in the shop .I will get back to you if i notice anything is missing . the slot acts as a bolt guide i think and that is all .The Rifler

i think your right about the slot being a bolt gide gide
but i would be good if you can have a look to make sure for me :)

I have a Marlin 917 and it has the same slot. Ii is for the bolt/firing pin assy. There is a pin that rides in and out of that slot that loads the spring for the firing pin. Basically this it connected to the firing pin.
I made a custom fit pin for my Marlin so it fits a little tighter and feels smoother during the cycling of the bolt. You should be able to see this part while the bolt is in the action. You might even be able to here it clicking from one side to the other while cycling the bolt.
