Still getting it done with my off the shelf CZ 527 American in 204 Ruger!

Couple dogs I took yesterday.

The coats are being tanned.

They were very thick!

The bigger one has a lot of red's and the little one was very dark.

I don't normally take hides to get tanned but both of these are at the tannery.

I'm heading out to Nevada next month to get some more!

well congrats.me and the 223 and 25-06 have been getting some the last week.Hides here in OR are bad the last i heard so its shoot and leave.i took a big fluffy male to a friends for his wife to try her first shoulder mount.Theres a lot more good coyote hides this year here with very little mangey 1s,and you cant even get much for good dog hides.

It cost more to tan than to buy.

But these are mine so they mean a little more.

Mr, how long were the shots?

The first one was between 250 and 300 yards.

The second one was about 125.

Lots of open pastures and flat shooting.
