Doggy style.......

Well, we saw "Eastern Style" in Maryland and that was great, here is one of my favorite ways...doggy style in southern Maryland:P1020399 (800x600) (3).jpg This is Max....doing his favorite thing. Almost lost him when he was just a puppy. He was just about a year old and ran a big woodchuck into a den and I guess he couldn't handle the thing because he didn't come out after 45 minutes. His good fortune was that I was on an excavator at the time and walked it over and dug him out. It's a good thing he only weighs 15 pounds...if he was the size of a rottweiler nothing on this planet would be safe. He thinks it's his job to kill every living thing he can find. If we are out "hoggin" I had better see it before Max does or me and the woodchuck don't have a chance.

That would be nice to see in action, about like a coyote decoy dog except yours aint going to let you do the final kill.

I love the little Terriers. Had a Manchester/Rat Terrier mix that was a squirrel hunting little fool. If a squirrel hit the ground alive he would finish it in about 2 seconds.

When I was growing up we raised Elkhounds. They would tree, bay or hole up anything. I learned early on that if they tree a ghog to shake or knock it out just so that they could fight it. It didn’t take one of my hounds long to break its neck and be done with it!!

He's a tough little dog for a house pet. He has ran into dens and pulled woodchucks out five times now. I also have coon hounds. When they were puppies I would turn loose a caged coon in the woods behind my house then cut the dogs loose and let them hit the red hot track. We do this to help get them started. Once when I went to turn loose a live trapped coon I wasn't aware max had gotten out. Right when I opened the trap he appeared out of nowhere, ran into the cage and pulled out the coon which was only three times his size. He couldn't handle a 20 pound coon and it got away, but he wasn't about to not try it. I about jumped out of my skin when he ran right into the trap I was holding...definitely not ready for that.
He especially hates snakes and he has been very lucky to have not ran up on a copperhead yet.

Pretty cool!!
Good looking dog.
My German Shepherd and Black Lab got a hold of a ground hog at our place one time. It put up a fight but once they got control of it the tug of war started. The ground hog couldn’t take too much of that!

I got a 14-15 pound mixed breed now who is my little buddy and house dog. He is the same way with animals. I have to pull him off the bigger ones! I have came home and found dead mice in my house that he caught and killed! He is always trying to kill a stray cat that comes around here.

I think i have his brother just not as aggressive! Saw two of them go into a warthog den in RSA, thought it was all over for them, luckily it was an Ardwolf / Monarch they pulled out by its legs! I have it on video!

My daughters black mouthed cur came home with lots of teeth marks in her nose and limping. We doctored her paw but it got no better so after a few days she went to the vet. The vet poked around in the wound and pulled out a K-nine tooth from a raccoon. When we got out of the car coming back from the vet she took off to the woods. About 10 minutes latter she comes home with all these ripped up raccoon parts. Took her several trips but most of the pieces were there. After that fist learning experience she would bring home a ripped up coon with out a scratch.

Ha! Quick learner!

Best dog we ever owned, come around my house when me and the wife are gone and come near Hannah and she would get behind and grab the person by one butt cheek. Never broke the skin on anybody, everyone got the message. Lived to be 16 years old. Only dog that ever whipped her was a mastiff, and out weighed her by 3 times. She was already named when she was given to Hannah. Gota love a dog named Trigger!!

Do watch him with the snakes!! A Copperhead could really put a hurt on him!!

I had a small mutt years ago the liked to jump into tall grass and grab frogs, bugs , whatever. I also had quite a few copperheads at the time. She was snakebit so many times that she went from being laid up for a day, to only a few hours. She was almost totally immune to them.
