Does the length of the neck has an impact on accuracy?

Hello,
I am a big fan of the 260 AI.
For the 260 AI, I use different cases, like 260 Rem, necked down 7mm-08 and of course necked down 308 win. The shortes neck comes from the 308 Win and the longest one from the necked down 7mm-08. Shorter than 6,5mm, means diameter of the bullet. For e.g. the 6mm PPC has a neck length of 7mm and is very precise.
So what do you think?
