Does Paul Becigneul still make powered neck turning lathes?

Hi,

Does anyone know if he still makes them? I emailed him at all of his email addresses listed but didn't get a response so I wanted to see if anyone here had bought one from him recently.

What do the lathes look like? I have two I'm willing to sell, but I don't know if they are the same.
I think one of mine turns at 80 RPM and the other at 180 RPM.

I emailed him a while ago and he said he could no longer get the motors he was using. Sinclair and benchrite make them too, but pricey.

Erik,

Sent you a PM.

Paul was picking up an angle drive gear motor from the surplus center and fitting a case holder to them. I haven't seen any motors available in a while...

I thought he was using the gear reduction motors from graingers? It didnt look like an angle motor in his video on you tube.Pm him at pbike257 and he will answer you.

IIRC Paul & Francis bought out a bunch of gear motors from the surplus center to convert into case turning motors. They may have switched to something that Grangers had available when he ran out of those inital motors.

No need to PM him, I have his cell #. Next time I talk to him I'll ask...
