Does know where to get a sunshade for a weaver V-24

I bought one used and weaver wont answer so I need to know if anyone might make one or have one if they were made at one time.It seems that they came with the scope but not for sale individually. Great move on their part. It is a V24 w/40mm objective and the threads are quite a bit larger in diameter than a leupold.

HABU put me on e-bay and I very quickly found a 67mm sunshade for my Sightron 10 x 50 X 60. I am sure you can find a camera sunshade that will fit your scope for less than $10.00.

The V-24 front objective takes a 49 mm camera lens filter. I use the filters for covers. They are a dollar or two for the used ones at camera shops.

I have two sunshades sitting in a drawer that came with my Weaver T-36 scopes. They're there because sunshades tend to house air that heats up inside and only aggravates barrel and ground mirage. That's why you never see them on scopes at local, regional, and national short range "B"enchrest competitions. Instead, You'll see umbrellas attached to benches for shade, and mirage shields attached to barrels.
