Does anyone prefer plated over coated 9mm projectiles

As long as it is the HI-TEK coating by a company that knows how to do it! It will be almost as good as a jacketed at pistol velocities.

I use plated 9mm for auto.

I have been using s&s bullets with aa#5 and getting good results but it seems coated , plated and jacketed like RMR are all fairly close in cost anymore

I have used the plated, Berry's as well as Rainer Ballistics, but when buying in bulk the FMJ seem to be comparatively priced, so I use the jacketed. This is for the semiautomatics, 9mm, .38 Super, 40/10mm, .45.
I do use the coated bullets in revolvers, and have used ACME, Missouri, and SNS.
