Does anyone prefer plated over coated 9mm projectiles

I have been using s&s bullets with aa#5 and getting good results but it seems coated , plated and jacketed like RMR are all fairly close in cost anymore
just curious if cost is within a few bucks or so which would be preferred

Plated over coated 100% due to the smoke. That said, if you are shooting a Gen 4 or older Glock, plated bullets will not shoot as well as coated.

I have used the plated, Berry's as well as Rainer Ballistics, but when buying in bulk the FMJ seem to be comparatively priced, so I use the jacketed. This is for the semiautomatics, 9mm, .38 Super, 40/10mm, .45.

I do use the coated bullets in revolvers, and have used ACME, Missouri, and SNS.
