DIY Trickler for FX-120I “Open Trickler”

Just wanted to share in case anybody is in the market for an auto trickler for their FX-120 scale on a budget and is down for a fun project.

The Open Trickler project by ‘EAMARS’ is a fully open source diy auto trickler project available on GITHUB for your FX-120 scale, just need a 3d printer and some very basic electronics wiring knowledge. All the parts for the trickler cost about $200, assuming you already have the scale($500ish). Depending on the powder, after it is properly tuned, I’m getting accuracy of +- .02 gr with an over charge every 10-15 cases.

That does look like a fun project. I bought a resin printer but after some use I kinda wish I would have bought a filament

This has my interest. The FX-120i has been on my want list and we just got a Bambu P2S over the holidays, so new to the printing world. I have a solid team of co-workers that I'm sure can help me through any obsticales. Curious of how many of these are in use and any issues. Just trying to get a feeling on expectation as this has me excited to use the printer. thanks!

Mine work great. You need to play with the trickler settings to tune it perfectly. I don't like it for ball powder as it goes everywhere and lock up the tubes. I use almost exclusively extruded powder anyway.
