I just cut a slot in the neck of a new case with a dremel. Then I squeeze the neck together a bit so it will hold a bullet. I may mark the bullet with a marker so I can see the marks if it goes into the lands. I chamber the round then carefully pull it out. Measure and repeat. I will chamber and measure 6 times or so, watching for a consistent measurement. Average all the measurements and call that my length to the lands.

But it's marketed as the greatest thing on earth. That's how I ended up with a creedmoor.I cant see a need to even own one
