I just noticed they only have the most powerful 3 watt transmitter receiver set available . I used both a 1 watt and a 2 watt .
I would not use the other 1.2 ghz or any other ghz , I have. Experience with other than the 2.4 ghz

I have pics of the 2 system I made last year . I'm not tech savy and this is the longest thing I've typed ever . I can send pics 1 at a time by e mail but would really like help having some post the pics to this after I email them the pics .

Here's another option I built and tested to 1700 yds. It will go further.

I have some pics I can email . Teele 1 is going to help but we have a shooting weekend no were both busy reloading and I'm trying to finish up a chamber .
I may take the camera system to our 300 yd shoot on Sunday ,just to take pics of it in action . I know it's only 300 but it'll give an idea of camera setups angles and trans set up . That's if I get room in my car . 6 rifles an loading equip and rests and well you get the idea . Let me know if anyone's interested .

One member has made the system and used it this past weekend at 800 yds , worked well . He's going to change the camera choice out . Amazon changes specs on cameras so the one I ordered last year ,while it worked great , has changed its design so it no longer is able to take the new lens .

I am the member that built Gary's system. It really does work well. I look forward to seeing how far out I can take it with good reception. I am not a techie at all and found it pretty easy to put together with a little guidance from Gary.

1 watt is plenty. Doesn't sound like much, but at GHz frequencies, line-of-sight path, it's plenty, believe me.

As a point of reference, 2.4 GHz transmitters for radio control aircraft radiate only 1/4 watt to control planes (extreme examples) weighing up to a couple hundred pounds and flying up to 100 mph or more. Wouldn't want those to get away from you. :o

If one of y'all lucky pictures recipients would post them here, it wouldn't ruffle my feathers, anyway. Dunno about the OP's.

Thanks for posting the pics .
It'll be tested with Skidmarks this weekend at 1000 yds .
His total cost is aprx $250 , about $90 more than it was when I built mine a year or so ago .

I can barely e mail . But willing to help . Email me ggmac5@aol.com
A few items have changed since I built . Everything is basically plug and play , a few cables need to be made but I'll help .

That's ok, I'm not in a position to build one right now anyway. But this will go on my "want" list. Maybe one of the other tech-agile chaps here will do one themselves, and can document the configuration.
