Diopter/Globe Selection

I am planning to assemble a non competitive rifle with diopter/globe sights. This will be for fun and learning and perhaps some money fun among our shooting tribe. Would you buy new Williams sights or vintage models. I think I want the vintage but I still want to win. 25/50 yards with 22 rifles.

Thanks
Gary

You would be better off with redfield international or palma. They have back springs that keep tension on the adjustment screws so there is minimal if not no backlash. The front globe can be anybody but i would go with a 22mm globe for better light.

An RPA Trakker would be a good choice, especially used. It's much more robust than the Redfields and much less expensive than Warner, Centra, etc.
