Dillon shellplate 4 rim diameter

What press ? What caliber ? I own a Dillon 550 for 40 years and shell plate have not changed configuration. They are the same today as in those times.
Shell plate caliber conversion kit - reference numbers are at the end of every Dillon instruction manual for the press you use along with parts number for the press as a whole.
Manuals can be found online easily.

This plate had 223, 308, .523 (Belted Magnum) and Lapua Magnum all on one plate.
You had to change the buttons but never the plate, and you could only make one round at a time. Such an item would have been great this weekend. Great when you want to make a whole bunch of 3 round samples across the spectrum of rifles you have. I saw it ONCE. But I don't remember the website.......

When changing a shellplate on a 550 only takes a few minutes on a bad day, it doesn't sound like much of a time saver.

I just took mine off - it's a very useful bit of kit and I keep it on one of the Dillons for sizing and mandrel use, But no part number on it. It has 1,2,3 and 5 marked on the shell holders. I think that they came with the 550B Basic model. Needed a clean anyway. I also bought a thrust bearing from Amazon which sits under the large "bolt" that secures the shell holder. Smooths it out a bit.

Wayne,

Assume you have two or more single function dies, such as a powder feed through and de-crimping tool on one tool head. This would make it very easy to use one toolhead with multiple cartridges without changing the shell plate. You'd do a bunch of the same cartridges with the same function at one time.

This shellplate was made for the legacy machine AT500. We made several versions of this plate, one for common handgun, one for common rifle, and one specific to Cowboy Action shooting cartridges. They were discontinued about 15 years ago, and none are in inventory. The stock numbers were 16610, 16624, 16632. Ebay is probably your best bet.
