Dillon RL550 for 6.5 creedmoor?

This is my first post here. I just wanted some opinions from more experienced reloaders.

I currently use the Dillon RL550 for 9mm,.45, and .223.

I just purchased a Ruger precision rifle in 6.5 creedmoor to try and get into long range shooting.

What are your thoughts on using the Dillon to reload the 6.5? Can you get precise loads with it or would I be better off setting up a single stage?

Welcome
Yes
Floating tool head
Weigh charges on scale.
Drop powder thrower, funnel powder through die with thrower removed.

Yes you can load excellent ammo on a 550. Use a toolhead with floating dies (Whidden) and weigh your charges on a digital scale. There's a lot of info about creating match grade ammo with a Dillon

Here is a link to an article by a forum member, it has a ton of great info

Thanks for your advice and that article. Just what I needed. I haven't fired the rifle yet so I'll have time to do some research before loading. It looks like there's a lot more to know to load for accuracy. Basically everything I load now is just for plinking at 100yds or less.
