Dillon 550 setup

Been years since i used my 550, trying to set up for 357/38, which powder funnel do i use? I have 2 D’s short and long. 2nd the paper clip thingy does not seem to be holding the case un the best(die centered) spot, should it be on the case or rim? thanks

My 38/357 Dillon powder funnel has a D stamped on it... Don't know if that helps ... Just adjust the paper clip to touch the brass , it doesn't lock on there super tight... It just keeps them from falling out in my opinion....

EDIT... Yup it's the #2 shell plate , #2 buttons and the D marked powder funnel for .38/.357....

If you have lost that information you can download the caliber conversion chart that list all the information from Dillons webpage free of charge....

I agree, adjust is so that it is a half a hair (scientific technical term) away from the case rim. Just close enough to not allow it to migrate.

If you have an old part that has recently been upgraded without your knowledge, call Dillon and they'll probably just send it to you.
