Difficulty FL sizing 17 Hornet

I'm having difficulty FL sizing 17 Hornet fired brass. I can get it through the Redding die but it is very hard to do. I have a friend using Hornady dies experiencing the same problem. I would appreciate any info on this.

My Hornady .17 Hornet brass works fine in my Redding FL die. You using enough lube?

I also have no issue with my Hornady dies on Hornady brass. I do use Dillon case lube. I stand all of the cases up so when I spray some gets in the case mouth.

Please tell us which Redding die you are using, setup properly and rifle make?

Thanks fo your reply. Redding has since refinished the inside of the FL die and this seems to have solved the problem.

I spray Hornady one shot on a rack of cases and go to town.
