I'm one of those gun nuts who cannot stand the norm. Thought you fellas might be interested in a couple of my competition beasts. The 1st being my skeletal rifle using a Bat action and 11 twist Kreiger barrel, chambered in .308. Only have fired to break in barrel and fireform a few brass. Brass used was the old Remington .308 small primer BR brass, loaded with Varget and 155 Scenars. I have several different barrels chambered for this Bat action and a much lighter and smaller bag riding block for 6ppc and .30 BR chamberings to make weight requirements. Tracks quite well and .308 barrel grouped well.
2nd is my Unrestricted Handgun used in Cast Bullet Assoc. matches. Action is an xp-100 with a Lilja barrel Chambering is my version of a .30 Grendel. This unit holds 12 of the 13 national records in it's class.
