Die help 243 AI "Custom"

Hi folks have not posted in awhile, but I have a question in regard to purchasing a custom die. Looking for information and opinions.

My smith and I over engineered a custom 243 AI reamer, changed a few dimensions and hello, need a new bump die as the dies I have bought, ordered and used will not bump the shoulder with out bulging the case just below the shoulder. Some times too much thought is not productive.

The ?.......What manufacture shall I send 3 cases to, to have this die made? Neil Jones...Harrell's...other recommendations??

The rifle is a trued rem 700 with Krieger 1-7 twist and is a tack driver. Very easy on cases, 10 loadings with Lapua brass with easy loads and about 5 with warmer loads...then I have to get more brass out. Have not lost a case yet, they just get too tight to chamber.

I have all the tools for checking tolerances on the brass, so that is not an issue.

Thanks for your input!
Tony

I have a 243 Ackley that I bought second hand - http://www.thestalkingdirectory.co.uk/gallery/member-galleries/p4428-russell-gall-243-ackley-improved.html It only came with neck sizing dies and a seater. I twice fired some Lapua brass and sent the cases off to Hornady to get a custom full length resizing die made. I am very pleased with the results. I full length resize every time and anneal after every fourth firing.

Neil Jones will be your best bet, I don't believe that Harrells makes a die for the 243 AI, and they are usually used in a arbor press anyways...
If you had a Warner Tool die, I would say to use them for the inserts...

I second Neil Jones, I just received my FL Dasher die from him. You will need to send him 3 cases that have been fired 3 times and only neck sized. Wait time is not bad, took him 2 and a half months to get mine done.

Don't want to step on any of the experts toes but, Harrell's custom FL dies are made to use in presses that have 7/8x14 threads.
