Please come and join us at Arlington Sportsman Club in Mansfield Texas Saturday Sept 22 for our monthly VFS match. This match is getting very popular and is causing the scores to get very competitive.

We try to start as close to 9:00 am as possible, you can check in as early as 7:15 (if I am there that early). $5 for members and $10 for non members.

Last month we had to run a 3rd relay. I know a few folks are in Raton for the Nationals, so we may only be running 2.

Im thinking of coming over. Do we set up flags, is this a 13.5 hv legal match, does everybody pre load, will my main man glenn chism be there?

It would be nice if you drove down. This match has no weight limit, and you can see the difference in some of the scores because of that. Any rifle legal to shoot at our range (below 338) can be used in our match. There are no other restrictions in our particular match. I will check with Glenn and let you know if he will be there. Most everyone preloads, however Glenn is one of the ones that load at the range.

Since you have a long drive, if you shoot RH, and can shoot off a SEB, and don't mind the wind flags being set up so you can see them in your scope, you can share a bench with me, and I will have everything set up for you.

I was at the range with Glenn today. He was planning to attend until the extractor lip broke on his bolt. He called Kelbly's and has a replacement being hotshot delivered. So he is still hopeful of attending.

I got a hotel room so im still at 99.9%. Was glenns extractor a sliding plate on the face of the bolt?

I am watching the weather. The target backers are not covered, so steady rain will not only muddy the walkway in front of the target backers (which gets very slippery) but it will also cause the paper targets to fall apart. as of right now... the match is still on. @Dusty Stevens you may want to find out the cancelation policy on that hotel room. I will try to let you know ASAP, but it may be early Saturday morning before we can make the call. I sent out a text to the texting distro list I have, and will use that as the official notification. If you would like to be added to that list, message me your cell number and I will add you to that list.
