Devcon Plastic Steel Liquid (vs. Putty)?

Has anyone tried Devcon Plastic Steel Liquid as opposed to the putty for bedding? I've used (and liked) the putty well enough, but would like to get a little more flow out of it. I know you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to get a little more flow out of it, but I was wondering what the consistency of the liquid was like and what it was like to work with.

The liquid is much too fluid to use for bedding. It would never adhere to the stock on the verticals.

The putty is far superior. We use Marine Tex, same idea, and if it aint broke don 't fix it.

Buy both an mix to desired consistency. Works great

Are you saying that you pre-mix both according to their respective mix ratios and then mix the two together after that to achieve the consistency you want?

Yes activate separately. Let stand for 5-10 min (let crosslinking start) and mix together. Techs at Devcon say no problem. Ive been doing this for years with great results.
