Denton Texas- club shoot- Sun Nov 8th- 100 yrd score and group

For all those North Texans that want to shoot next weekend, there is the last club match of the year in Denton Texas on Sunday Nov 8th. Now I know it's opening weekend, but maybe if you shot that big buck Saturday, and you want to go home early, you can stop by for the fun.

This will be a 100yd event and as always we’ll be shooting score in the morning and group after lunch. We will draw for benches at 8:00 and shoot at 9:00. $25.00 gets you a full day of fun in the sun. Just drive on back to the rifle range and I’ll get you signed in.

I might make it. Iam in the process trying to find a load for my newly built 6br,got 45rds down the tube so far. Is this just for fun or will prizes be handed out?

It is just a club match with no prizes (other than bragging rights). I believe this will be the last club match of the year, so the guys that have been shooting all year will be eligible for this Club's Shooter of the Year award.

This is just for fun, we run the match under the NBRSA rules except no weight limit. We average around 20 shooters a match. If you need some range time before the shoot your welcome to shoot as my guest on Saturday. We have up to 10 shooters come out every Saturday but were always trying to get more to come out. We have a good time.

I have only shot out there 4-5 times, but it's the best place by far I have ever been and the shooters are incredibly nice. I have learned so much in the short time I have been out there. They even have the local 4H club come out and run the targets (for tips) and they provide a box lunch for $8.

Rules, guns, etc, etc.? Have you got a different clas for handguns?

I only shoot 100-200 yard benchrest, so that is all I know about. Here is the Club match schedule for 2010.

May 23th 200 yd ---club
