You can only delete posts after the first post in the manner you describe above.If you are the original poster you can erase all of your post except for 1 letter then hit save changes and the post will effectively be removed.
Original poster cannot delete a post like they can on Benchrest Central.
I removed around 1350 of my posts one at a time and none of the posts I started could be completely removed.
