Decapping Problem on Hornady LNL

Lately I've been having a problem with decapping my cases(doesn't matter what caliber) with my Hornady LNL press. After bringing the ram back down it will stop about 2" short because the primer is still in the case but pushed out far enough that it is in the hole restricting the plate too turn to the next stage. I've checked the decap pin and it is for sure going down more than enough to push the primer out. It's almost like the primer is sticking to the pin and when the ram goes down, it brings the primer back up into the flash hole. I thought I'd ask here before calling Hornady up tomorrow to see if there was a solution for this.

Sounds crazy but is it possible that all said cases are using the same shell holder? Possible burr in the hole?

Other than that I would be looking closer into the linkages that actuate the plate to turn as it may be out of time somehow?

Yep. Happens on my LnL and Dillon 1050. File a flat on one side of the decapping pin point. Should solve the problem if the pin is as far down as it can be.

Patch, most calibers use their own plate so that's not the problem. jdne, I was thinking that the pin was just about the same size as the inside dia. of the primer and was lodging itself and getting stuck. I thought about taking the pin out and taking it down just a .oo2 on my lathe to see if that would help but I guess a flat would most likely work also. I guess maybe after a few thousand cases on each caliber the pins may be getting flattened at the tip, I dunno? :P

Thanks for your inputs
